Shipping policy

9. Delivery and Returns

9.1 Subscriptions and products can only be delivered to addresses within the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Island; the Channel Islands; Europe; and the USA. We can also deliver to BFPO addresses.

9.2 We currently use Royal Mail standard second class post, Evri, or Yodel to deliver orders to your address. Orders outside of the UK may be passed from our shipping provider to their local partners. Actual delivery times may vary depending on;

  • our stock availability;
  • your delivery address;
  • when you make your selection; and
  • circumstances impacting delivery by the Royal Mail or Evri.
  • Custom delays

We reserve the right to use alternative delivery methods without prior notification.

9.3 You will not hold us responsible for any delays which relate to the delivery of subscriptions or products.

9.4 After placing your first order please allow up to ten (10) working days for delivery of your first subscription or product, although normally it is much quicker.

9.5 Royal Mail currently quotes a delivery time of three (3) or more business days for second class post (correct as at 18 April 2012). We aim to use a similar service standard when using other providers.

9.6 It is your responsibility to report all lost, damaged or undelivered orders within fifteen (15) days of placing your order by email to info@sterlingshaveclub.com. Issues not reported in this time will result in no refund.

9.7 We reserve the right to cancel your service if it becomes apparent that, in our sole opinion, the postal service in your area is too unreliable.

9.8 Subscriptions/one off payments can be returned to Sterling Shave Club Ltd up to seven (7) days after the delivery date. On receipt of the returned subscription you will be refunded for the cost of the unopened items minus the costs to Sterling Shave Club Ltd for postage and packaging - the amount we charge for postage and packaging may be different to what you paid on your invoice, including more. This is particularly likely if you benefited from free postage and packaging as a result of your order value.  All goods returned for refund must not have been opened, be completely unused and in a saleable condition due to the need for hygienic practices needed surrounding health and beauty products.

9.9 For any orders outside of the UK, there may be additional delays and/or Customs fees associated to your order, including but not limited to Value Added Tax (VAT) and Import Duty. There may also be a customs handling fee charged by the shipping provider. By placing an order for delivery outside of the UK with Sterling Shave Club Ltd, you agree that any such charges, fees, duties or other costs incurred due to you placing an order for delivery outside of the UK will be the Customer's liability to pay. You agree to pay any fees promptly. In some cases, our shipping providers may require the payment of such costs within a given timeframe. You should ensure you look out for emails requesting payment. We will also try to contact you to highlight any payment requests but cannot guarantee this service. Payments not made within the stated timeframe will likely be returned to us. In such cases you will be liable for a secondary delivery fee and any return fee charged to us if you would like us to resend your order. If you opt for a refund, we will refund you minus the postage and packaging costs to Sterling Shave Club Ltd, as outlined in 9.8 plus any additional return fee. 9.10 Any gift subscription, be that our 'Christmas gift subscription' option or any other 'one-time payment gift subscription' product, is not entitled to partial refund. You agree by placing an order for a gift subscription that you will not be entitled for a partial refund. For example if you should you decide you no longer want the outstanding products. By purchasing this type of subscription you enter into a contract with Sterling Shave Club Ltd to receive the amount of products described in the product description, over the time period described and at the frequency described. Once this payment is made, no refund will be given under any circumstance, save those outlined in these terms and conditions or required by UK law. We agree that should Sterling Shave Club Ltd. be targeted for acquisition that as part of our terms the acquiring company must fulfil our obligation to you to provide the products purchased as part of any 'one off gift subscription package'.
